I'm sure most of you are familiar with the above screen. Our draft order will be determined randomly by following the details below. We will conduct our franchise/city/league draft and when you make a selection you will select the corresponding franchise according to the order in which you joined that division. For example: If I select Atlanta in the NL South, and I am the first owner to choose the NL South I would select the 1st "Open Franchise" in that list. In the above picture, that would be the spot occupied by the New Orleans Kingfish. The next owner to choose an NL South franchise, will select the 2nd spot (occupied by Monterrey Mexicali Blues in the photo). At this point we do not even have a world so there is no possible way for any of us to "plan" which franchise we want to choose to get a better draft spot... Is this fairly clear to all? Please post your selection here in this forum and I will update the post below as this moves along.

I may have missed this in the email threads, but are we doing an MLB theme, or can we select any city/name that we want (provided that the city is still available)?

With the first choice in the city selection draft - I will take . . . . . . Atlanta in the AL South.

Can you please cross off or otherwise mark this list as people draft, just so I know how close I am to my pick and can try to make it quicker?
Thanks!

I guess this might take awhile. (And the Captcha verifications are a bit annoying)

I'm taking Chicago (Wrigley) and putting them in the AL East - I'm going to be the Chicago Goatmeal. I thought of it whilst eating oatmeal this morning.

New York - AL East

That would of course be Shea Stadium NY. If AL East is not possible for some reason (dunno if both NY's can be in the AL), then I would still take NY (Shea) but put them in the NL East. But only if AL East is not possible.

But only if AL East is not possible. They will not allow both New York franchises in the same league (AL or NL). Or Chicago for that matter. So if you want Shea it must go in the NL.
