Not really too slow in my opinion. We managed to get 29 picks in just under a full week.
Last Thursday @ 9:38 was the first pick.
If the actual player draft goes this well I will be a happy camper.
Great job to most of you sitemailing the next guys up. That really goes a long way.
There are a few of you that do not check your sitemails very regularly. I'll see that you've checked your team two or three times since I sent a sitemail, yet you haven't opened it. I think that is an area that we can improve on, which would speed up the player draft quite a bit. Obviously there was no sense of urgency for this draft, as we now are just going to be waiting again, but if everyone can get in the habit of checking sitemails during the player draft I am confident we can beat this time and finish a full round in less than a week.
Is everyone OK with allowing a full 2 weeks of draft review?
Since the first two rounds will not be timed anyway, I don't have a problem if we start those 2 rounds as early as the 1st guy up feels comfortable with his choice. But I'm also not going to force anyone's hand if they are too busy and need the full 2 weeks to set up their board...
